Instructions for the Thesis

Theory and Implementation of the Thesis

During the theory and implementation phase of the thesis, your process continues with writing the theoretical part. This means that you further explore previous research, literature, and theories in your field. Expanding the theoretical foundation and opening the theoretical framework provide the basis for implementing the practical part of your work.

During a progress seminar or consultation with your supervisor, you present the theoretical background of your research or project, as well as the plan for carrying out the empirical work. Your supervising teacher grants permission for conducting the empirical phase during the supervision meeting. The implementation phase includes carrying out the practical part according to the plan, collecting data, and analysing the collected data.

Present the results of your research or project as a separate chapter. In other types, such as product development, you can integrate the theoretical and practical results. When publishing the results, consider both the ethical and confidential aspects for the client or participants involved in the research. The key aspect of publishing the results is to present an honest and objective analysis and description. Pay attention to the clarity of the text, tables, figures, and images.
