Bibliographic database contains the bibliographic details of articles but may not have the full text available, which needs to be obtained through other means.
Citation database provides information on the citations between articles, including who has cited a particular article and the number of citations it has received.
Note! Most databases are combinations of different types. Some articles in a database may be available in full text, while others may only have abstracts.
