Instructions for the Thesis

Thesis guidance and allocation of responsibilities

Thesis work is typically done individually, but in some cases, the scope of the work may require a team of multiple students. In a thesis conducted as a pair or group project, it is important that each student's contribution is clearly identifiable and assessed separately. Make sure to participate in all steps of the thesis process according to the instructions provided by your study program and supervisor. This ensures that you receive the necessary support and feedback for the successful completion of your thesis.

The thesis process includes several different components that support you in various stages of your work:

Personal guidance: You will receive personal guidance from your supervisor regarding your thesis.
Group guidance: You will participate in group guidance sessions where you can discuss the progress of your work with other students.
Seminars: You will participate in seminars where you present your work and receive feedback from both teachers and fellow students.

The thesis is guided through Wihi, which is a system designed for thesis supervision. The student(s) and the supervisor work through the entire process via Wihi. There are variations in the phases and instructions depending on the field and the supervisor, which the student follows.
